Ingredients: 2 persons
6 slices sandwichbread or fresh whole bread (thin sliced)
6 stripes bacon
4 slices turkey
2 tomatoes
4 ice berg lettuce leaves
4 tbsp. mayonaise
a pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions:
Put all the slices bread first in a toaster.
Then place the slices of bread on a cuttingboard.
Smear 1 tbsp. mayonaise on one side of each of the 4 slices bread. Leaving 2 slices bread with nothing on it.
Put 1 leaf of lettuce on top of 2 mayonaised slices of bread, being this the bottom of the sandwich.
Then put 2 slices of turkey on top of the lettuce, for each sandwich.
Take again 2 slices of one sided mayonaised bread, being now the middel of the sandwich. Put the non-mayonaised side of the bread and place it on top of the turkey.
Put a leaf of lettuce on top of the mayonaised side of the bread.
Slice the tomatoes into thin slices and put it on top of the lettuce. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Put the stripes of bacon on a oven tray with waxed baking paper. Put it under the grill in a oven until brown and crispy, or fry it in a frying pan with a little (1-2 tbsp.) olive oil.
Take the bacon out of the oven or frying pan and put it on a plate with a papertowel to let it absorb the grease.
Then put 3 stripes of bacon for each sandwich on top of the tomatoes.
Put the last slice of bread on top of the bacon.
Cut the 3 layers of the sandwich diagonally all the way through. Put 1 or 2 toothpicks into each section of the sandwich to hold it together.
Place it on a plate with a napkin on it.
Bon Appetit!!
