Labor of Love: The Wynwood Yard + World Famous House of Mac Join Forces to Show Big Love to Houston on Monday

World Famous House of Mac and The Wynwood Yard, in partnership with generous South Florida businesses and organizations including Tech Beats & Bytes, T.E.E.S. or Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success, Headliner Market Group, Simple Vodka, Digital Grass, Event Nerds and ShutterBox Photobooth present a Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert on Monday, September 4, from 4 p.m. to midnight. While admission is free (with RSVP), guests are encouraged to purchase donation tickets to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. RSVP and purchase donation tickets here.

The event will bring a line-up of local acts including Ryan Rachal, Robbie Elias and the Revenge, Nathalie Nesh, Dama Vicke, EONS, Cortadito and Brothers of Others to The Yard’s Simple Vodka Stage for Miamians to enjoy while they show our Texas neighbors love and support.
 
Derrick Turton or “Chef Teach” of World Famous House of Mac has been instrumental in mobilizing his networks and resources, including his contacts from his former career in the music industry, to spearhead relief efforts, gather donations and spread the word. Digital Grass, who hosts a weekly Monday night tech and music industry networking event at The Yard, have also played a large role in coordinating these efforts.
 
Donated hygiene products, diapers and toiletries will be accepted  at an on-site disaster relief donation booth. Contributions of $10, $25 and $100 will also be accepted online, with 100% of the proceeds going to a Miami Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, administered by The Miami Foundation. The contributions will be equally divided between Global Giving’s Hurricane Relief FundBethel’s Place (a non-profit based in Houston) and T.E.E.S. or Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success, a non-profit founded in Houston, with additional operations in Miami  which will be in charge of logistics and shipping of local donations.20% of all purchases at The Bar at The Yard will also go directly to the Miami Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund administered by The Miami Foundation. In addition, every Simple Vodka cocktail purchased during the event will result in a meal donated to Feeding Texas!  Live Nation/Fillmore Miami Beach will raffle two tickets to the Sept. 6th Modest Mouse concert at The Fillmore on Monday to help spread the word about the event (see The Wynwood Yard’s Instagram and Facebook pages for more info on this giveaway).Please note that Tech Beats & Bytes has joined forces with this event and will serve as hosts for the Monday night programming in support for this Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert.#mhhrelief
