Navigate Zika with the Wynwood BID's Toolkit

Aug 13, 2016

Dear Wynwood Business Owners:

Thank you to all of the businesses who attended the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) Board meeting this week. It was so great to see such a strong showing and unity from the many businesses throughout our neighborhood. As a follow-up, below are links to useful information as we rally together to address the Zika virus and its impact on our community.

Wynwood Zika Business Toolkit

  • As our neighborhood unites to overcome the economic impact of the international attention surrounding Zika, we want to provide you with the proper information and tools to help navigate the issue. The Wynwood BID has created this toolkit to serve as a resource for managing media inquiries, social media and much more. Our team is here to help and support you. Reach us at info@wynwoodbid.com.

Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau Promotion
  • The Wynwood BID has partnered with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) to offer Wynwood businesses the opportunity to promote themselves through special deals/offers via a web and social media campaign, at no charge to participants. Information about businesses and deals will be placed on a newly-created component of the GMCVB's highly-trafficked Miami and the Beaches website that has been dedicated completely to promoting Wynwood. To be included, complete this form and email it with images to offers@gmcvb.com. For questions, please call (305) 539-3092.

Wynwood Art Walk: Love for Locals Campaign and Free Parking
  • To help lure locals back to the area and give special thanks, during the Art Walk Second Saturday event, area businesses are rallying together for the Love for Locals campaign - offering a series of discounts and freebies to patrons. If you are interested in joining the campaign and would like to share your participation on the GMCVB special offers page, complete the following form or share with info@wynwoodbid.com.
  • The Miami Parking Authority will also be offering free PaybyPhone parking all day Saturday to patrons visiting the Wynwood area.

For questions or to receive communication regarding notable Zika updates and information directly from the BID, please contact: info@wynwoodbid.com or (786) 615-8828.
