Today, you finally get to say hello to Concrete Beach Brewery. Yes, they’ve been pouring their fermented grains around town for a bit. But this evening they’re opening their brewery doors in Wynwood for your hops-friendly consumption.

And the following is a highly scientific (not really) look at the essentials:

The vibe: A sunny, kick-up-your-heels kind of spot with a 20-barrel, rebar-studded brewhouse, an on-site quality control lab and a “Social Hall” featuring an indoor/outdoor bar. (You can see what we’re talking about right here.)

The pedigree: The head brewer spent some time at Dogfish Head and Golden Road.

Number of beers made on-site: Four. You’ve got Stiltsville (a pilsner), Rica (a wheat IPA), Concrete Common (a common ale) and Walls (a South American red ale).

Number of beers on tap: Seven. Five dedicated to their in-house brews and two rotating guest taps—one of which serves as a permanent residence for the 24th Street breweries. Love thy neighbor and all.

The food situation: None. But they won’t begrudge you some local delivery to your bar seat.

The unexpected beers: They’ve got Walls pulling double duty as both a nitro and a normal beer.

Regular multitasker, that Walls.
