Nomad Tribe: Fashion + Social Impact

Oct 28, 2015

Nomad Tribe is not just another fashion boutique in Wynwood. They’re combining the importance of social causes and fashion. Owners Valeria and Alvaro both happen to have a passion and background in each, which brought them to where they are today.
“Fashion plus Social Impact” is the foundation on which they stand upon. The brands they currently carry, including their private labels Duho and Nomad Tribe, all represent and give to a social cause.
The store’s self-titled brand Nomad Tribe combines tradition with the modern ways of our society. Starting in Peru, artisans hand-make traditional fabrics, which are then modernly designed and manufactured. This not only creates job opportunities for the artisans, but also makes the brand extremely unique.
Currently in the works is a Loyalty Program in collaboration with local charities. There will be opportunities for customers to volunteer in exchange for discount codes to shop Nomad Tribe while giving back to the community. They will also host in-store events on a weekly basis, involving several different charities and causes.
Their doors opened the second week of October and have received tremendously positive feedback from the neighborhood. But if you’re not local to Wynwood, no worries. They also have an online shop!
