Come hungry for Pi by Halfmoon’s Hawaiian luau-style pulled pork Pi, an empanada turned pie served piping hot along with mango salsa and coconut-lime sauce. Relish Food Dude’s calypso jerk BBQ ribs or their newly added house-smoked BBQ jerk pork served in whichever way you fancy - as a sandwich, rice bowl, or over fries.

For the official Independence Day bash on July 4th, join CHARCOAL’s summer pop-up, CHARCOAL beer garden + tapas for a BBQ from noon to 3 p.m. Sink your teeth into slow-roasted Josper meats like succulent dry-rubbed Texas-style beef brisket, slow-grilled chicken thighs and lowcountry barbecued Berkshire pork shoulder to munch on with a side of jalapeño cilantro cornbread.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at CHARCOAL and The Yard, keep your fuel supply high while savoring complimentary beer samples from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (must RSVP and be 21+ for free beer samples) by Estrella Damm and favorite local breweries including Veza Sur, Biscayne Brewing Company, J Wakefield, Hollywood Brewing, Wynwood Brewing, Concrete Beach, Stone Brewing, and MIA Brewing.
Stroll over to The Yard and rock out to ESCO delivering their soul-driven and melodic tunes at 4 p.m. followed by DJ Joseph Anthony finishing out the party from 7 pm. to 10 p.m.
The BBQ specials at The Yard continue on the 4th: Kuenko unveils their special BBQ chicken slow cooked in a Flipino-influenced savory kare kare peanut sauce and served in Kuenko’s traditional rice-and-fried-egg donburi style. Pasilla Mexican Camioneta dishes up mouthwatering sweet pulled pork tacoswith caramelized onions and tossed in an ancho chile BBQ sauce.
Brazilian Fire highlights their $1.50 slow-roasted chicken drumstick, flavor-bursting sausage or perfectly-cooked platanos. They even have gluten-free cheese bread (pão de queijo- 3 pieces at $1.50)
